The Office of Program Evaluation offers program evaluation services to public and private agencies. USC faculty work with a team of graduate students for the planning, development, and execution of program evaluations undertaken by the office. Graduate students bring their training in program evaluation and research methods to the evaluation teams.
The office also offers services in assessment development, research planning, data collection and analysis, and technical documentation. Quantitative and qualitative research methods are supported. Quantitative methods include nonparametric, parametric, structural, and hierarchical statistical techniques. Qualitative services include focus groups, interviews, observations, and video and audio recording. The office's assessment services include test and survey development, administration, and analysis using classical and modern test theory.
