Project Description: The Arts Assessment Institute is a multi-level institute designed to offer South Carolina (SC) arts educators professional development in classroom assessment that focus specifically on the unique challenges of student achievement in the arts education. The institute offers three courses that instruct South Carolina arts educators to develop and use a variety of classroom assessment formats (AAI-1), to use assessment results to inform arts classroom instruction (AAI-2), and to evaluate the efficacy of arts education programs (AAI-3).
