	Bio: Juanita Pelt is a doctoral candidate in the Educational Psychology and Research Program in the Department of Educational Studies at the University of South Carolina. She currently works in the Office of Program Evaluation as a research assistant and team leader. Her research interests include student motivation with an emphasis on self-regulation and diversity in science and science education.
