Biography: Karen Blizzard is the Administrative Assistant for the Office of
Program Evaluation. Karen has 12 years experience working in a Level One Trauma Center. Ten years of this time she worked in the Medical Staff Affairs Office where she co-managed credentialing files of over 1000 multi disciplinary physicians, 200 alllied health professionals and the communication of 21 medical staff departments and numerous committees to the Board of Directors of Palmetto Health. Karen worked very closely with physicians and advanced practice allied health professionals on the development of privileging competencies in compliance with regulatory bodies while assuring safe patient care.
Karen is currently working on improving systems in the office where she assists the Gamma Team with their paperwork and management of grant projects. |
